On Tuesday I expect to play The Disposable Heroes of Hiphopracy's "TV is
the Drug of the Nation" and bob and bop my head like Motown taught me, but
before you puke, listen to those lyrics...the poetry as well as the 
fact that it comes wrapped in rap may be effective...I know I may
look fooolish in class or online but I not only love the song but
know it helps to show students their teacher knows that there are
learning worlds beyond the classroom and that student culture transmits
valuable thinking even if it isn't always studied as a "subject." will
