Yes, I agree that Teddy wouldn't be screeming. Moreover, I cannot visuali= ze him pushing his sister playfully into a pool, having pondered tthe possibility of its being dry only a few moments before. But what troubles me is his indifference to the feelings of his family about his death. I mean, he does take trouble to please people, he isn't generally indifferent. So why is it "ridiculous" to mention the time of h= is death? This troubles me more artistically than morally. It is one of the reasons that this story is certainly not my favourite one. Paul Janse
