They were large and roomy inside with two extra tiny collapsable seats in the rear passengers' section on the floor. The last one was retired only a few months ago and previously it's driver was in competition with one other to see which of the last two Checker's could ramble on the longest; uptown and down, east side and west, throughout Manhattan.
