I'm behind on my list reading (something like 250 new messages--egads!), but
I thought I'd take a moment here to mention that I was part of an event
called "academic decathlon" in high school. I don't remember much except
that one event involved marching into an auditorium while the "Chariots of
Fire" theme played on a very crackly P.A.
