You think I look like Glenn Close??? I guess we both have a strong bone
structure (and both see Norma Desmond in `Sunset Boulevarde' as our dream
role (: ) I however like to think of myself as more of a Rita Hayworth
type. If anyone has ever seen a picture of `The Birth of Venus' by
Bougereau, there's a kind of bemused-looking nymph just off to the right
hand side of the picture (verily naked, I regret to say,) that is the
absolute spitting image of me. It's quite uncanny. I'll have to put it on
my webpage some time. And I'd just like to say right now, unequivocably,
that I don't know who that black guy there is (:
(My webpage photo, by the way, is taken from a 1996 publicity photo when my
play was at the Adelaide festival. Chosen in deference to my official photo
which makes me look like I'm about to recommend someone follow the yellow
brick road (: )
