well, i knew he would commit suicide when i read Raise High because i had
already read Franny and Zooey. but no, i really wouldn't have guessed
suicide at all if i hadn't already known it. i really haven't decided on my
opinion of the suicide, i will probably have to re-read it a few times before
i come up with my own thoughts. right now i seem to think it has something
to do with his feeling that he is more enlightened than those around him and
that it was just getting too frustrating for him to have to deal with. but
as i already said, i haven't come to a conclusive thought yet.

thanks for the suggestion, but i have a peculiar liking to my writing style.
