Michael, my friend.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. That's only Scottie, who has a penchant for correct grammar and capitalization. He will toss out the occasional inflammatory remark in the hopes of getting an angry response or two. (Jim's expression of surprise was shared by many of us when Mattis beat him to it...)

I wouldn't take it personally, and please don't think that anyone here is judging unfairly. It's just that half of us know Strunk & White forwards and backwards, and the other half like to think that we do. We'd hate to have you unsubscribe to the list, fellow 'fish. Every so often, when we're not mired down in pumpkin soup, someone contributes something shining and beautiful.

So, either just use your shift key at the beginning of every sentence or else grow a thicker skin, because you'll eventually find that it's worth it. And I don't think that Scottie will change his mind about that grammar thing anytime soon.

He's altogether too old.

Regards,
Cecilia (Who is going to start a fan club for Scottie if he isn't careful...)
