Cover Art (was: Re: Newbie)

Cam,
   I'm really surprised that you didn't mention the most classic of CITR
covers, the red one.  It's a rusty red with yellow letters for the title.
I think it was Little Brown's choice cover for the book from 60's to 90's.
I'm not sure why they went to black and white with that hidious rainbow in
the corner.  If you ask me, that's purely a F&Z cover, if I ever saw one.
But CITR will always be that rusty red, reminincent of his hunting cap.
My copy is falling apart.  The glue in the spine evaporated on my first
reading.  It's never been the same, and I can't figure out where page 84
is for the life of me.
