What was the book? Precious to you or precious in terms of money? (We're often interested in these things here!) If precious to you, why was it so? If valuable, which title and edition? > Some sort of epiphany in my life or something. Epiphanies are good (James Joyce thought so) but don't be discouraged if you get negative reactions; some of our members are not fond of epiphanies. (In other words, take criticism that might pop up gently -- not as an attack.) Cheers! --tim o'connor >> Indeed, the book itself is precious to me. Not in the terms of money. I can't really say that i cherish money-stuff that much anyway. the book was a gift, anyway. the title and edition i choose to keep to myself for various reasons. but i did see the same edition on display at the Whit. last week. and as far as Epiphanies go... all things literature sort of came clean to me as i sat before a woman that risked her life for salinger's words on a page. get it? jessica
