 "For Esme with Love and Squalor" is the BRITISH title under which 
"Nine Stories" was published!

"Ungle Wiggily in Connecticut" is my favourite story in that book. It 
is so beautiful and it always makes me cry.If Walt is Walt Glass (which 
it seems to me is without question) he fits in perfectly with the 
description of him as Bessie's "only truly light hearted son". (Sorry 
if that quote is a bit wrong, its a while since I read any Salinger and 
I haven't got any copies to refer to just here.
