The whole exchange confused me, because I didn't feel that I was the target of anger or any other negative sentiment. I did feel that there was a good sense of difference in points of view (valuable in a discussion) but not any personal animosity. I even read the previous posts twice, trying to discern a note of any negativity, at least directed toward me (unless someone was quoting another writer and inadvertantly included my mail in the reply). At least the pump is primed. It's cold in NYC today and in the Northeast. I'll bet our man is checking his supply of cord wood, maybe even stacking it at this very moment.... Lucy, Muriel has always been a cipher here, a kind of tabula rasa. Any ideas you inject will inevitably stir a conversation. So have at it! --tim
