I think I may have to hunt down the original story now after this
exchange... =)

Oh, and perhaps I should of added a :) after my departing potshot at ol'
Malcs. Malcs, at least in my view, was one of the "wise men" of the list
back in the day. His constant barrages of English major inflicted views
help shape the list and keep the list honest.

And now my departing potshot: does anybody have messages pre-January '97? I
remember collecting a few of the best messages from the early days and
looking back at them for inspiration. But sadly, I lost them when I
transfered to my new computer...
