One would imagine that he would have taken his children, but we don't hear
about a trip to Expo 67 in Peggy's book. Though perhaps he went by himself
to recoup from that year's divorce.

 Paul, whether Salinger did or did not visit Montreal, either in 1940 or
some other time before or after writing "De Daumier-Smith's Blue Period"
(yes, Scottie), still take solace in the fact that Sister Irma "taught
'cooking and drawing' at a convent elementary school just outside Toronto".
