Wedo know that Seymour has spent time in psychiatric hospitals, or at
lease being psychoanalysed. He says in his diary that he agreed to see
an army psychiatriat for Muriel's sake, and Zooey tells Bessie to
"think what psychoananlysis did for Seymour" in "Zooey". The rest is
totally unfamiliar to me, though.
