My life is sometimes war like enough for me. I don't want to go into too
much detail about what I do for a living. I am in Federal law enforcement. I
shoot an M16, 9mm, and 12 ga. shotgun at least once a year to qualify. I
have struggled with suspects and have been bitten and cut by them. I have
thrown gas and flash bangs. I have been in the middle of a riot. I have seen
some dark things that would make the darkest nihilistic novel look like
Saroyan wrote it. I would not join up to go fight in a war , homeland
invasion excepted, I would go if drafted and just do my best.
Really I never intended to speak at all on the type of thing I do for a
living because it is so different from most of what the other Fish do, but
this discussion prompted this small revelation.
