my sincere apologies, sundeep, if it sounded as if i
thought scoring a financial coup was the operating

i didn't think of the methods described upon when i
impetuously wrote my post. (actually i like the alsen
volume, despite all my tirades, much better than dr.
mrs. elizabeth kurian's effort (or is it mrs. dr.
elizabeth kurian on the title page?)

many thanks for the above. it's very interesting to
get a report re the twin hamilton's from someone!

 my point in my original post is that it was m.k.'s
nytimes review *at the time of announced book
publication* which might have nixed 'hapworth's'
reappearance. though i imagine other
magazine/newspaper critics ran critical responses in
'97. just thought it was hers that chilled jds.
