Oooh, I hope this works...
Hi! I just subscribed to this mailing-list, but as I
am quite incompetent and a complete technophobe, I can
only pray that this works.
I've been a Salinger fan for a long time... like every
other fan I adore A Perfect Day For Bananafish and
Catcher In The Rye and Franny and Zooey. Apart from
those, my favourite story of all time is For Esme -
With Love And Squalor. I love that he actually gives
children credit where credit is due and lets his
child-characters have intelligent personalities.
Anyway, I can't think of much else to say - I only
hope that I can bring something worthy of Salinger's
work to these discussions.
