That's cool -- I'm glad it worked that way for you. I suspect it had to
do with your family dynamic. It's not hard to find people who find any
kind or form of social "caste" restrictive, though, in some ways.
There are different stories. Many, many novels.

I was speaking past tense -- that's how I felt then (when I was in HS).
Now I think more along your lines -- reading somewhat, along with
relationships and choices. Probably a few other things too if I spent
much time thinking about it.
