Hello everyone!! I've been new to the thee discussions for a few weeks but
have basically keep my mouth shut. My name is Christina Glembocki.

I agree that Salinger's book covers have no character, as matter of fact they
barely even have a color. I have my first copy of Catcher in the Rye and it's
a lovely shade of burgundy, I do not know if the other novels had this color or
a different one. What I do know is this, Catcher in the Rye should be burgundy
and now it's a plain white cover, I believe it's just to save money and
increase a profit margin. I found this out when I had to break down and buy a
second copy of Catcher because it was too tattered to read anymore. I am truly
upset, I know it sounds petty but what can I say. I became even more amazed
when I purchased the rest of Salinger's works, all white covers, no personality
