I am new to the list. Well, not exactly new. I have been reading messages
for a good few weeks now. This is my first message - inspired to respond
to a burroughs question.
FORTHCOMING? Haven't heard anything about it, but know that one has
already been made. Must be at least five years old???? Very stange
version of the book but to a certain degree I guess that is unavoidable.
The part that sticks out in my mind is the bit about the Talking Asshole -
from what I remember the words are taken straight from the text.
I've been away from Salinger for a long time, but I must say that this list
has sparked my love once again. Thanks.
