The East have had their religious wars too.

And the answer to this question would be, No :) It isn't. Our religious
traditions taught us what love, wisdom, beauty and meaning Is long before
we distilled them into philosophies.
If you dropped the etc. from your sentence, you'd get a lot more people
to agree with you, though.
