Hey Tim,
Thanks for the response/ I was just curious. I don't think of God in any
relation to the universe, either. Just in relation to people. I don't
thinks God's a "He" or anything like it, and I don't see HIM up in
space, looking down on us. Still, when I look around at people and
things, I know God exists. At least in my world.
Still, you answered my question. YOu wrote that "I'm seeking, I guess,
to find things that will make a pinging noise that
resonates in me, that makes me feel that I've been touched by the writer
or the artist or the musician. That there's a common bond between
us...I have infinitely more regret about the times I've hurt people than
I do about not thinking about the existence of a god." To me , thiese
statement represent your religion. I know you may not agree, but
religion probably means something different for you than it does for me.
And in my opinion, you have a religion. You believe in things. You
believe in common bonds and the human experience and the wonder s and
motives of art. And you feel. You feel the ping and you search the
search and you're sorry for the times you were blind and hurt others.
That's enough for me. (Not that my opinion should matter to anyone else
BUT me.) Thanks again.
