Really??? I've never even heard of this show. Though owing to the deserts
that make up a bloody lot of our country it makes an excellent Other Planet
and plenty of people have taken advantage of this. The good side of
productions such as this is that lots of Australian (and New Zealand)
writers, technicians, and actors get jobs. The slightly sadder side is that
many such productions end up taking away funding and jobs from local
productions, because Australian technicians are (I'll modestly admit)
considered the most conscientious in the business. But I must admit being
enormously entertained by seeing Keanu Reeves walk past my train station in
`The Matrix' (: If you're ever cable surfing, look out for an excellent wry
and dry drama called `Good Guys, Bad Guys'. The actor who stars, Marcus
Graham, just starred in David Lynch's latest project, `Mullholland Falls'.
Yeah, we Aussies have a lot of tricks up our sleeve.

In the same breath I'd like to denounce Portia de Rossi from the detestable
`Ally McBeal' and announce that her real name is Amanda Brown. Ha ha.

Well ... back to Salinger!
