Camille,
I just wanted to thank your country for producing some of the best
writing in TV SciFi. I've reciently become addicted to a show called
"Farscape" which is made in Australia. Though the series has wonderful
characters, good plot, good effects, it's the writting that really comes
shining through. The human (American) on board uses lots of slang and
idioms to express himself. And while it's mildly flavoring to hear a
Klingon talk about "gnar" or somesuch, it's highly amusing when an
american talks about another space ship as a Hyndia. Just imagining how
the other aliens think about this is hilarious.
Anyway, the writing is well done and refreshing. Just wanted to thank
you, as our representative of Aussieland, for this contribution to TV
SciFi.

btw: "Farscape" airs on the SciFi channel, check local listings or
www.scifi.com.

btbtw: only bring this up on this list because it has to do with wonderful
dialog, something Salinger excelled at.
