Hugo Weaving. He was also one of the drag queens in `Priscilla, Queen of
the Desert'. I ran into him at a bookstore in the city one time last year -
he's actually surprisingly short in real life but I hear that's what
everyone says when they see actors in real life.
I suppose I should use this relatively inconsequential post to make the sad
announcement that I will possibly/probably not be able to lavish as much
time on Bananafish as I once did, having gotten (gasp) a Real Job in the
City. You'll all be happy to know I'll be pulling in more money than I've
ever seen before and it's a great, creative job which will more than fund
my Dream To Be A Writer. I just reached the part of Hapworth 16 where
Seymour has the vision of Buddy as a 46 year old writer. That heartrending
little peanut! (:
P.S. Jim, the shoulder flaps are so the rain doesn't go down your neck
while you're riding a horse. I'm sure this will be very handy for you (:
