Has anyone noticed the "Fat woman" and "Phony" theme in Capote's "Breakfast
at Tiffany's" ?
 Of course the fat woman for Holly Golightly represents death, for Zooey she
is Christ and everyone. There are many phonys but Holly is a "real phony", a
compliment if you have read the book, a compliment if you haven't as
well....oh well.
This is a book for amateur readers who have yet to meet Holly's fat lady.
