I opt for Lagavulin, personally--or rather Laphroig since the friendly folks
at United Distillers seem to be into market manipulation these days,
creating artificial "shortages", and gouging addicts like myself.... But
that's another story.

I've no intention of reading the Salingerina's book (Cecilia and I seem to
be in rare agreement), although I must confess to experiencing some sort of
"repulsive attraction" (is this a Jungian concept, Scottie?) over the
revelation of Jerome's preferred libation. A while back we were debating
the true colour of the classic paperback of CATCHER. Cecilia somewhat
stupidly believed it to be maroon. Sonny ultimately suggested "fine
burgundy", to which I raised my glass.

It appears now that there can be NO DOUBT about the colour of the lettering:
Urine Yellow.

Cheers,

Paul
