 Hi Robbie,
don't worry, I know who L. Manning Vines is. It's the favorite writer of a
character in 'Uncle ... in Connecticut'. Maybe it appears in an other story,
but I don't know which one. It was just ironic, just like when I wrote that
'people discussing about Great books are automatically fine and elegant'.
You're right, I surely didn't get your joke: I confess my understanding of
english is pretty bad; I should read Lavoisier directly in french.
