I totally agree, Kim...I purchased on auction an old copy of the
Saturday Evening Post, and seeing Salinger's stories set in this old
magazine with these old ads really gives you the impression that you've
traveled back in time. I think it helps you understand the story, too,
in somewhat different ways -- it reminds you of the place and time out
of which the story was written.
