having fun is fun. it's not important.
doing something important brings things. doing something fun doesn't bring
things. it brings nothing. and nothing doesn't matter.
it's only fun if it causes nothing. nothing doesn't matter. things that
don't matter are fun. things that do matter are important.
you either have fun or you don't. you can't do it better or worse than anyone
else. if you're in the KKK and you have fun burning crosses...vs. a lady who
has fun shopping for shoes...to those two people there is no differing degree
of how they view their fun.
when you do something important, it can be more important or less important
than some other important thing. the person who invented antibiotics vs. the
person who invented the arch support...both would agree that antibiotics are
more important than supported arches.
even someone with miserable arches would agree that antibiotics are more
important than arch support. important means something, not nothing. fun
means nothing, not something. and nothing doesn't matter.
so nothing is fun?

i have fun for nothing, and do important things for the things.
i have a beer on Friday night for nothing but fun.
i raise my children so that they will be alright in the world. it's
important. i don't do it for fun. i do it like i work. well.
as hard as i try, i can't get any better at drinking a beer on Friday night.
