Just had to respond to this. The events in "Zooey" obviously take place the day after the events in "Franny". In Zooey, Franny talks about her conversation with Lane in the restaurant the night before, and she tells Zooey about how Lane was so proud of this paper he wrote (though he was pretending not to be) and how he wanted her to read it and how everything he said she just picked apart. She also talked about fainting in the restaurant. A few other things... but you get the idea. =============================================== David S -- david@cybermail.net -- http://www.biogate.com/david ===============================================
