it's anice book. forced to read it as well three years ago. the only 
striking thing i remeber was that when the girl who dies moves in the 
neighborhood, she doesn't like watching television. she said she came 
from a rich family but no tv. and this poor little redneck watches 
the tube almost all the time. she just teaches him how to use his 
imagination. one real good thing about it is that it makes a frequent 
reference of the chronicles of narnia in the book, so kids may want 
to read those too. cya~ randy
