What impossible chapter is this? What scene?

What infuriates me is the scene where Nick and Gatsby are watching Tom and
Daisy through a window. Nick says that they have a plate of "cold fried
chicken" between them. How the hell could Nick have known that the fried
chicken was cold? He's outside, behind a window, after all.
