Lesley, from someone who has gone through what you've recently gone
through, this is the kind of generosity that could only come from
someone who has a heart of Glass. 8-) If I should be lucky enough to
pass through your part of the world at some point, I shall stop and
offer your family a bundle of flowers in a gesture of thanks.

I was being figurative; I'm sort of between apartments, presently
staying with my mother, though I've stayed with a couple of different
friends in recent months when I needed a bit of breathing room.

Fortunately, I haven't checked into the Edmont Hotel.

Anyhow, since you sent your message to the list, I wanted to publicly
say that your note was gracious beyond gracious, and I can scarcely
express my appreciation for the kind words!
