Yes, that is the point..most learn from our elders..sometime there is no
one to tell ..the ducks .. or show the guidence to teach the young love
can sometimes only be found within .. so why travel south.. you can be
warm within without ever traveling and without acquiring what society
tells you that you need to feel warm.. Holden wasn't an idot..he could
simply find no warmth and hadn't yet noticed that there was warmth within
Salinger helps us to realize what he knows about humanity but
many..many..many..even his best of fans..still don't know that it is the
key..that everyone seeks..and it is within each and everyone one ..
