Canine Zooey

Get Out!! MY dog is named Zooey!! I thought we were the only Salinger-
obsessed psychos who were goofy enough to immortalize one of our fave
characters into canine form (but she's not a bull terrier; she's a
shepherd/chow mix)(yes, she's female--I told you we were goofy).

Changing the subject, does anyone own or has anyone ever seen a copy of
the first printing of "Catcher" with Salinger's photo on it? Did any of
his other books have it? I know he made a big hoopla to get those blank
covers (which is a really cool idea).

I realize the books w/photos must be extremely rare and valuable, but
I'm just curious what they may be worth and whether anyone has one.
