Sorry to disappoint, but I've checked all paperback versions and hardbark
versions and couldn't find this imagined extra twist...the first paperback
doesn't have a blank last page, the red edition has one blank page facing
the cover which makes me *speculate* the weird red shadow imprint may have
come from a stamp on the back cover...I checked my white cover and found
two blank pages at the end but no print at any angle...BTW, the penguin
paperback had 10 blank pages...I swear I can hear the trees howling, will
