Ok, Tim, I have two editions at hand. A 2nd printing of the Little,
Brown hardcover (my reading copy) that has it as follows:
. . . as long at its warm . . .
The other is a first printing of the Little, Brown paperback from 1991:
. . . as long as it's warm . . .
