What I was referring to as "military crap," and what you're very wrongly
(probably out of failure to properly read) understanding as criticism of the
military, is the repetition of patriotic slogans and expression of pride in the
military _as a response to criticism of bad US foreign policy_.

It's a non-sequitur.

Me: The US has consistently (not exclusively) supported bad, bad people and bad
governments that did bad bad things to their own people.

You: We have a great country and I am proud to have served in its military.

Does this make sense as a response?
