Was Hussein "enthroned" by the CIA? The Baath party took displaced a
democratically elected government in the 1950s via assassination(s).
Hussein rose to the top in 1979. I don't think we were pulling any strings
to get Hussein there.
There's no question we played those games in Iran, though.
