I thanks for sharing your self authentication, back in my youth I remember
all the hippy communes in New Mexico and now they are all gone, they
couldn't live with each other. I just never imagined a hippy driving a high
end sporty Mercedes with golf clubs in the back. I guess activism has been
reinvented. Good to see John O. doing John O.'s work. We need to join him
on that high road but do we need a Mercedes?

Subject: My political career

Hi Jim,

Actually the Democratic party leadership spoke to me not long ago about
running for the big job. I had to turn them down. It wasn't just
because of all the spectacular sex scandals in my past (although that
would have been enough to get me defeated here and elected in France).
It was because I promised to campaign to fully legalize prostitution, a
large number of wonderful chemicals, and quality major studio film
making (oh, wait, that last one might already be legal, it's hard to
tell).

As far as Georgie goes, I would remind those of you out there in other
countries what he told us all at the end of his State of the Union
speech this year: "The liberty we prize is not America's gift to the
world, it is God's gift to humanity."

So we're not only pursuing our own interests internationally now. We
are doing God's work.

You all are just going to have to learn to understand that.

All the best,

--John
