Dear Tim,
After a few weeks of being out of it, a new baby and Passover, I have
gotten to your extremely funny piece about JDS's powerbook. Not to
mention your as-usually well written comments on pitfalls of books
which deprecate the computer culture. Thanks a lot. I still think, by
the way, that old Henry David Thoreau anticipated the internet whan he
writes in Walden
We are eager to tunnel under the Atlantic and bring the Old World
some weeks nearer to the New; but perchance the first news that will
leak through into the broad, flapping American ear will be that the
Princess Adelaide has the whooping cough.
