Sometimes, Scottie, I wonder if it wasn't you who fired the first shot
in the American Revolution.  It didn't matter what side you fired on;
you just enjoyed the subsequent carnage.

My first response to this is that there's one thing that separates
Catcher fans from Catcher...er, non-fans--and that's good taste versus
bad taste, plain and simple. On the other hand I wish it were that
simple, being that Austen fans are, of course, readers of impeccable
taste.  Right?

Brendan

I'm curious, Scottie, what *your* response to that post was, knowing you
to be a great Catcher fan and also to never shrink from a fight.
