In the 3 weeks that I've been haunting the book tables around NYC, I
haven't seen much Salinger until today. I bought a paper F&Z a
Catcher for $6.00. I haven't seen any Salinger at Strand rare books
for years. Either he's being read less or more folks are holding on
to their books, but it is no longer easy to scoop up used Salinger
paperbacks from the usual suspects. will
