Amazingly, one place I have found to have a lot of Salinger works is
ebay. They are also amazingly cheap, as most people on ebay are not quite
aware of what they are selling. The other day I saw several magazines that
had Salinger stories listed in them, but that is not what they were being
sold for- they were orignal Colliers and I think one Hustler that was being
sold because one had Marilyn Monroe nude shots (not to offend anyone) and
another had an article on JFK. They were only six or seven dollars, too.
By the way, I live in California, and those of you that have the
opportunity to shop for Salinger in Washington Square- I envy you the ground
you stand on. Even if you don't find any Salinger, that is a great
experience. Think of me next time.
