Put that way, what struck me was an old arguement that I used to have with
my friends that religion, politics, & philosophy are all, essentially the
same thing: a quest for power, personal control, or, at the very least,
twisting peception so as to give the illusion of control. Looked at in that
light, life itself is powerlessness and the struggle against that. What do
you think?
