Re: How is the list?

A few things that are very important to know about this new virus
include:

1. It only propogates itself.
2. It picks up addresses from the victim's address book.

and, most importantly,

3. It hides its origin by having the FROM field filled randomly from
other addresses in the address book.

So you could be getting a ton of e-mails about a virus you sent...that
you didn't send. You were just in someone's address book who did get
the virus. There's nothing I can think of to do about this but set
message filters to redirect these messages into a JUNK folder or
something like that.

Jim

PS So far as I can tell, this list has been working fine...posts have
dropped off a bit the last few hours, but they tend to do that
sometimes.
