I have just read Brian Fenton's funny letter.
I feel pretty smug, though, about the whole matter.
I like Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s books very much.
But I thought from the first that the speech was an empty collection of
platitudes and truisms.
"Live once in Northern California, but leave before it makes you soft?!?!?!?"
(I guess that's really just a paraphrase.)
