Malcs wonders about where the stereotype of taxi drivers came from and when
seeing phrases such as:

> yes, even from a cab driver!

wonders if those who stereotype cab drivers have ever actually taken many cab
rides in their lives, especially in Europe where more often than not most of
the taxi drivers are middle class, middle aged family men looking to make a few
extra dollars at night by carting around strangers in their own Vauxhalls,
which really completely reverses the concept of stereotypes because the taxi
driver has more to "lose" and probably more "wisdom" to impart than the cargo
they're carting around.

Taxi Drivers of the world, unite and take over ;)
