i seriously doubt bush's qualifications for the job. i also don't believe
ronald reagan did much more for our country than fuel a costly arms and
military race with a soviet union he and all of his advisors knew was a
paper tiger and run up the national debt like a madman as the u.s became a
net borrower, in 1986, for the first time since world war 1. and with a
hollywood career and iran-contra under ron's belt i don't think clinton is
the only actor who's resided in the white house. bush may be what he says he
can be, and if he rebuilds the military (though not to reagan-size), i will
look favorably on him for that, but he's got a long way to go in my mind.
and al gore DID get more votes than dubious, no matter how you look at it.
